“The synergy and transition to life after physical therapy was the BEST aspect of Experience Momentum.”
“As a physical therapy client and a middle-aged, often-injured guy wanting to improve my health and prevent future injuries, I am one part of a team at Experience Momentum. My care team asked about my goals, gave me a plan to accomplish them, and set a transition plan for training even after formal physical therapy was completed. It would not have been possible without everyone. Even with my travel schedule and two injuries, the entire care team helped me move forward at a pace where I wouldn’t slow progress.”

Initial sessions for Nutrition are always 53 minutes allowing enough time to ask questions and understand your needs. Common topics we cover include your daily eating habits, medications & supplements, physical activity, cooking experience and desires, and overall lifestyle.
With this information, your Registered Dietitian establishes a care plan built for your needs and desires. Within the first session, your Registered Dietitian will provide a few recommendations and goals kickstarting your care plan.
From there, the Registered Dietitian will recommend how often they need to see you and whether your care can be done via Telehealth or if in-clinic appointments will be most beneficial. If additional services will benefit your care plan, your Registered Dietitian will help set those up (I.e., Fitness Coaching, Physical Therapist and/or Massage Therapist care).
Future appointments with your Registered Dietitian will be 23 or 53 minutes depending on the Dietitians prescription of care.
-
Our Registered Dietitian Nutritionists accept most major insurance carriers in addition to cash-pay plans. Cash-pay options can be found down the page.
“Nutrition counseling has opened my eyes and heart toward teaching our sons how to learn healthy habits and to not carry shame about their bodies.”
“My Experience Momentum journey began with Holly as my dietitian. With tiny, tiny, tiny steps, I have started loving my body and throwing away all the restrictive diets, quick fixes, and calorie counting. In the fitness realm, I used to think you needed to be a particular size to gain muscle, and I have learned that is not true whatsoever. I have overcome believing that I am too big to lift weights and no longer think I can never be strong enough.”

“Exercise classes at Experience Momentum are suitable for everyone regardless of age, physical abilities or previous experiences. Each exercise or class can be scaled to meet you where you are. Each coach has the skill to allow you to be successful, just as you are.”
“As a retired 77-year-old mother of four and grandmother of six, I am a regular at Experience Momentum, either in the gym or in one of the massage rooms. This is a place where everyone knows my name, greets me, and notices if I miss a week or so. Experience Momentum entered my life as I explored the idea of working with a personal trainer. Little did I know where that curiosity would take me: Personal training soon opened the door to group exercise classes, cycling, yoga, and CrossFit. Today I am qualified as a CrossFit coach and have just completed my fifth year as an Open participant. Through all of this, I am constantly learning more about myself and my ability to do more than I think I can. At Experience Momentum, I have been challenged to be more fully me.”

“It still feels magical that my body can do all of these things, and that I’m now thinking about optimizing my performance rather than managing pain and limitations.”
“At the start of 2020, I decided to take it up a notch and signed up for personal training. We worked together and got to know each other for about 3 months before lockdowns hit, and I was so grateful that we were able to continue working together virtually. They designed home workouts that were custom-made for my running goals, once a week got on a video call to work out together, and helped me switch my focus from triathlons to pure running. He even paced me for my own personal half marathon PR at the end of that year to cap it all off.”
